During the week of Easter 2022, Danish activist Rasmus Paludan appeared in several Swedish cities for the stated purpose of publicly burning Korans. The result was a series of Muslim riots in the cities concerned. Many police were injured in those riots and many police cars were destroyed. Some 50 people to date have been prosecuted for those riots.
