Not long ago, we posted an article about Dutch schoolkids being fed mealworms in a class. Apparently, the idea is catching on in Europe since some of Europe's leaders are afraid they are running out of foie gras and bratwurst. Anyway, a Dutch delegate to the European Parliament has stated that food packaging (which is all regulated in the EU) should have clear labels telling the consumer that the food product contains insect byproducts or ingredients. (I am not making this up.)
