Border Patrol Morale at All-Time Low

 Today it has been announced that the Department of Homeland Security is preparing to discipline Border Patrol agents who were unfairly accused of whipping Haitian migrants at the border nine months ago with whips. The agents were on horseback and the "whips" were nothing more than the reins of the horses. No criminal charges were found warranted, but DHS chief Alejandro Mayorkas, an empty suit bureaucrat, terminated the use of horses at the border. Now, they are preparing to officially throw their agents under the bus. It is disgraceful.

Remember that President Biden, at a news conference, promised that the agents "would pay for what they had done". He convicted those agents and now comes the punishment.

Morale at DHS, and especially, at the Border Patrol, is at an all-time low. I don't need Fox News to tell me that. I have been told by people recently retired who are thrilled to be retired and felt they got out at the right time. What these agents are expected to do (basically everything possible except stop illegal immigration) is unconscionable. They put their lives on the line every day under circumstances that overwhelm them and are expected to babysit and facilitate the entry of illegal aliens from all over the world into our country-even put them on planes and fly them free of charge to wherever they want to go. And their own government refuses to back them.

This Alejandro Mayorkas is a disgrace and should be removed from his position. But who will remove him-Biden? Biden should be removed-constitutionally, of course, save your cards and letters. 

This hearkens back to the Obama administration and Operation Fast and Furious, when ATF agents in Phoenix-under orders- had to watch as straw gun purchasers bought guns and took them to drug cartels in Mexico-with no control beyond noting down the serial numbers. A Border Patrol agent named Brian Terry was subsequently killed by one of those guns. It was an operation that never would have been concocted by street agents. It was concocted by the suits in DOJ-Eric Holder and company. Janet Napolitano was head of DHS at the time and never even asked Holder why one of her agents (Terry) was dead. 

It is beyond sickening what recent Democrat administrations have done to law enforcement. They do not support law enforcement any more than they support our military. Biden and his gang are leaving our borders open and now carrying out what is basically a purge of those whose duty it is to guard our borders. Personally, I would not blame the Border Patrol if they all resigned en masse. I sure wouldn't stick around under these conditions.
