SUNY Brockport Update

Recently, we posted a story about the State University of New York at Brockport, where a convicted cop-killer was invited to speak. In the announcement of the appearance of ex-con Anthony Bottom, he was described as a "political prisoner". That (and the invitation to speak itself) led to many objections.

Here is an update on the matter from Campus Reform. It is noted that the president of the university has changed this event to a virtual event (online).

All I can add at this point is to say shame on this university. This is so emblematic of the moral and intellectual rot that has infected American universities for decades. It is reaching critical mass.
