At University of Michigan, Most Jewish Students Feel Unsafe

 Hat tip The College Fix

The Louis D Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law conducted a recent survey at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) in which 65% of Jewish students interviewed who openly identify themselves as Jewish feel they are not safe on campus. The below article is from The College Fix.

This comes as no surprise to me. While the article states that there was no information on the breakdown of perpetrators as coming from the far-right or far-left, the words, "Israel" and "Zionist" are prominently featured, which leaves me to believe that most of it-as in other universities across the nation- is inspired by anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian agitation.

Currently, I see nothing about this in the campus newspaper, Michigan Daily, nor in the university news website. I can only wonder what UMich professor Juan Cole thinks about all this. I would be interested to hear his "informed comment".
