Just a short observation here as I watch Amy Coney Barrett's confirmation hearing today. She is most impressive. The Democrats cannot lay a glove on her. Indeed, their arguments are few and weak. They are trying to get her to admit she would rule against the Affordable Care Act and Roe vs Wade. She is unflappable and totally professional.
The hearings are thus far, courteous, quite unlike the Kavanaugh circus. The Dems know they try to beat up on this woman at their own risk, and her demeanor and intelligence can only increase that awareness.
