UK: Police Have Suspect in Custody in Birmingham Stabbings

Early Sunday morning, a man went on a stabbing rampage in the British city of Birmingham.  One man was killed and several wounded. Police now have a 27-year-old man in custody who they believe is the stabber.

Police are under withering criticism today as to how the man was able to carry out his stabbing spree for nearly two hours in downtown Birmingham. As yet, they say they have no clue as to the man's motive.

*Update: British police have identified the suspect as Zephaniah McLeod (27). He is charged with one count of murder and seven counts of attempted murder.
