Dayton Police Officer to be Taken off Life Support

On Monday night, Jorge DelRio, a 30 year Dayton police veteran assigned to the DEA task force, was shot twice in the face while serving a warrant with the task force. Four suspects were arrested in the raid.

This is yet another tragedy to hit the DEA family. These task forces, made up of federal and state/local officers, are quite common around the country and are essential to the mission. The entire DEA family, both active and retired, is grieving with the Dayton PD this evening.
