Hat tip Frontpage Magazine
The country was shocked in August 2018 when police discovered an isolated training encampment in the New Mexico desert in which Muslim children were allegedly being trained to carry out terror attacks. One of the five defendants arrested was Siraj Wahhaj Jr, son of the controversial imam, Siraj Wahhaj Sr, of Brooklyn, a man with a long history of hateful statements and bad associations, including Omar Abdelrahman, the so-called "Blind Sheihk, who died serving life in prison of terror charges. In fact, the body of Wahhaj (Jr)'s own son was found buried on the compound. Now it is revealed that authorities have recently located a second compound, this one outside Tuskegee, Alabama belonging to the younger Wahhaj. Matthew Vadum has a report in Frontpage Magazine.

It should be noted that there is no indication that the elder Wahhaj is implicated in these alleged terror training camps. It would even be presumptuous to say that the younger Wahhaj learned his alleged radicalism from the teachings of his father, who has referred to America as a "filthy garbage can" and talked about Islam taking over America. Were I an FBI agent, however, would I be investigating these possible links? You bet I would.
For the rest of us mere mortal Joe Six-Packs out there, we can also point out that the elder Wahhaj is a favored speaker at those endless fund-raiser dinners put on by CAIR and other Muslim organizations like the Muslim Public Affairs Council, Islamic Society of North America, Islamic Circle of North America, etc. In November 2013, shortly after Wahhaj spoke in front of the CAIR annual convention in Anaheim, I asked CAIR's Southern California director, Hussam Ayloush about their questionable choice of speakers. Naturally, Ayloush fell back in his defensive/offensive default mode of calling me a bigot for asking. He also said that Wahhaj was "one of the most prominent and respected religious leaders in America".
One wonders how much the FBI really knows about all these associations.
