Rabab Abdulhadi (on left)
Students for Justice in Palestine at UC Irvine is announcing that San Francisco State University comedienne Rabab Abdulhadi will be speaking at UCI on her favorite subject: Resistance. Resistance to what, you ask?
Who knows?

Of course, when it comes to SJP and Rabab Abdulhadi, nothing is ever certain. After all, SJP/UCI is on probation due to their string of disruptions of Jewish events. It's what they do.
As for Abdulhadi, there is no guarantee she will even materialize. It's been four years since she did her disappearing act at UCI when she was supposed to appear with a couple of her blood-curdling protegees from the General Union of Palestinian Students, the latter noted for their then-recent expressions of wanting to kill Israeli soldiers. It was a real PR coup for SFSU under the feckless leadership of President Les Wong. The school has never recovered; in fact, it's been downhill ever since. Wong and Abdulhadi, once the closest of allies, have split from each other. Wong is still the (long-standing, out-going) president of SFSU while Abdulhadi hangs on-ever claiming victim status, and presumably resisting.
So mark your calendars, Resistors. May 15, at (where else?) the Cross Cultural Center at UCI, 6:30 PM.
