Hat tip Gates of Vienna
The below article by author Tabitha Korol discusses an inter-faith event hosted by a synagogue in Montreal, Canada. I am cross-posting it from Gates of Vienna.

On the surface, inter-faith events seem to be a part of the solution. A solution to what? A solution to the problems caused by Islam in the world, of which I don't need to list in detail. The problem is that these events are not part of the solution. They are part of the problem. I have attended many inter-faith events for the sole purpose of learning about them. What I have always seen are either leftist clerics or well-meaning but naive Christian pastors and Jewish rabbis, legitimizing Islam while the Islamic representative tells the audience how peaceful Islam is. Most of the time, I have known from my own personal experience that the Muslim representative was not a moderate. The same imams who will make nasty references to non-Muslims in the mosques, or rail about Israel, will then attend inter-faith events where all three representatives will bemoan the white nationalists and Trump supporters who are responsible for so much anti-semitism and Islamophobia. Often times the rabbis or pastors will criticize the intolerance of their own faiths towards Muslims-ignoring the centuries of slaughters in the name of Islam that carries right up to the present day.
Yes, it would be wonderful if all three faiths (and all the others) were living in peace and harmony. Unfortuantely, Islam is on the march, and all the inter-faith events are not going to stop the endless bloodshed. They only serve to put us to sleep.
