Nigerian Mafia in Italy and Organ Trafficking

Hat tip Vlad Tepes, Breitbart and Its Time

Giorgia Meloni is the leader of the Fratelli d'Italia party (Brothers of Italy) in Italy, which opposes unrestricted immigration into Italy. She is a candidate for the May elections to the European Parliament. In this TV interview with Massimo Giletti, she places the blame on the deaths of African migrants, who drown trying to cross the Mediterranean into Italy, squarely on those who support and encourage people to come illegally into Italy. Translation by Fousesquawk with sub-titling by Gates of Vienna and Vlad Tepes.

Meloni also raises the issue of the Nigerian mafia operating in Italy, especially in the town of Castel Volturno, north of Naples. She maintains that this organized crime group is engaged in illegal harvesting of organs using the bodies of smuggled migrants. It is a shocking accusation.

Can this be true? Breitbart has a 2018 report on the activities of the Nigerian mafia in Castel Volturno.

https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2018/02/22/italian-town-taken-over-by-nigerian-migrant-gangs/

"The largely abandoned former seaside resort town of Castel Volturno north of Naples has been taken over by Nigerian gangs who run drug and prostitution rings."

And organ trafficking? This from the Italian site, ITSTIME*, dated yesterday:

http://www.itstime.it/w/nigerian-mafia-and-the-shady-trail-of-organ-trade-by-daniele-maria-barone/

"Recent international investigations are making clear that Nigerian mafia has a prominent role in the global organ trade. This illegal business follows the same path and modus operandi they use for human trafficking: starting from Nigeria, passing through Lybia (sic) and Italy, and spreading into three continents, using the same tactics that had already been honed in recruiting sex workers or underpaid labour force. Offering opportunity to work abroad to unemployed youth, or household heads in debt or in need of cash to support their relatives[xxviii]. Once they become totally dependent on the cults will, they become weak and powerless enough to be convinced or forced to sell their organs to repay their debt to the cult."

So allowing hundreds of thousands, millions even, of people into Europe with little in the way of controls, is the moral thing to do?
