Dutch Police Arrest 7 Suspected Terrorists

This is breaking out of the Netherlands. Dutch police have arrested seven individuals who they say were plotting terrorist attacks in the country. The below is translated from De Telegraaf by Fousesquawk.

UPDATE - Seven men were arrested on Thursday in connection with the planning of a 'major terrorist attack' in the Netherlands. That was confirmed by the Public Prosecution Service.

The men come from Arnhem (three), Rotterdam (two), Huissen (one) and Vlaardingen (one). The suspects were arrested at the end of the afternoon in Arnhem and Weert. The two men in Weert stayed there in a holiday home and drove in a van on Thursday when they were stopped by an arrest team. According to local media, shot(s) were fired by the special unit. On images you can see that there is blood on the ground. The white van, with French license plate, and two passenger cars are confiscated, according to weertdegekste.nl.

Whether an agent has shot in Weert, the police do not want to say - it is clear that the special unit has used force. One or more suspects have suffered minor injuries.

Suspects were armed

The ages of the suspects vary from 21 to 34 years. During the arrests, for which various anti-terror units were deployed, the police found five small arms.

Group formed around 34-year-old Iraqi

"In a months-long criminal investigation, the police became aware of a group centered around the 34-year-old Hardi N. of Iraqi origin from Arnhem, who was convicted in 2017 for attempting to travel to IS's battlefield", according to the Public Prosecution Service, which says it assumes that an attack has been prevented with the arrests.

Bomb belts and car bombs

The men were looking for AK47s, small arms, hand grenades, bomb belts and raw materials for one or more (car) bombs. The PPS assumes that the suspects wanted to strike at two locations at the same time: both an attack with bombs and Kalashnikov AK47s at an event and as a car bomb they wanted to detonate.

In addition to the 34-year-old man, two other suspects have been convicted for an attempt to travel, according to the Public Prosecution Service.

Police helicopter above Arnhem

Above Arnhem, for some time, a police helicopter hovered on Thursday, as twitterers noticed.

The suspects are in restrictions and are therefore not allowed to have contact with each other or other people - only with their lawyer. On Friday they will appear before the examining magistrate.

House searches Rotterdam

In Rotterdam Thursday evening in two closely situated houses, raids and houses were searched.

'Clearly looking for a big event'

The criminal investigation is still doing a lot of investigation into the question of which event the seven attacked terror suspects wanted to attack. "We can not be  concrete about it yet. It is clear that the people were looking for a big event ", says national criminal investigator Wilbert Paulissen.

During the actions of Thursday, the police deployed about four hundred people, says the police chief.

The Ford-Kavanaugh Hearing

I just finished watching the entire hearing today that included the testimony of Christine Blasey Ford and Brett Kavanaugh. These are my immediate reactions.

Ms Ford's testimony was highly credible. The use of Rachel Mitchel, a prosecutor from Arizona, resulted in nothing. The strategy of the Republicans was to avoid any charges of browbeating Ford even at the cost of losing the vote on Kavanaugh.

Kavanaugh's testimony was mixed in my view. Initially, in his opening statement, he was fiery and indignant, as he needed to be. He was emotional, several times choking up. I am now going to make an observation based on my own experience as a federal drug agent testifying in hundreds of trials, grand juries and other courtroom processes. I always evaluate the performance of witnesses. There were times when Kavanaugh was not a particularly good witness. That can be excused given what he and his family have been through. He was often evasive and refused to answer questions as to would he agree to an FBI investigation. He refused to say yes or no. I would have just said,  "I have no objection, but it's not my call". At other times, he drifted into irrelevant minutia listing names of his high school and college friends.

In the end, the charges against Kavanaugh remain uncorroborated (including by the other three people allegedly present) and unproven. That said, I have no idea how Republicans like Jeff Flake, Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski will vote.

One thing is sure: The process is a national embarrassment. Senator Dianne Feinstein sat on the allegation for weeks. She waited until just before the vote to spring it. It also came out that it was her staff who arranged the legal aid Ford has received.

We should have learned a lesson after the Bork  hearings and the Thomas hearings. We have not. Is this what future Supreme Court nominees can expect? The whole thing was terrible.

One Fine Day on a German Tram

Day after day, night after night, the German people, as well as citizens of other Western European nations have to suffer the unruly and criminal behavior of so many migrants, refugees, asylum-seekers and other thrill seekers who flood into the country. For the life of me I do not understand how Angela Merkel is still Germany's chancellor. She has taken a peaceful prosperous, reconstructed, and decent country, totally different from the Hitler period, and driven it into a crime ridden place from east to west and north to south, where women cannot go out alone at night. If somebody doesn't come along to stop this madness, I fear civil war will be the result-the type of civil war Germany experienced after World War I.

Canadian Church Sponsors Syrian Refugee-Now Charged With Murder

Canada now knows what it's like to see one of their own citizens murdered by a Syrian refugee. Maybe they should consult with Germany on what it could have been avoided. The Ghost of Joe Biden Bites the Democrats Once Again

"This is a big f------ deal."


No, Joe Biden is not dead; he's probably off in some comer playing with a ball of yarn.  However, the big mouth former senator and VP has a knack of saying things that come back to haunt the Democrats.

For example, when the Republicans, who controlled the Senate, refused to consider the Obama Supreme Court nomination of Merrick Garland in the last year of Obama's lame duck presidency, the Democrats cried foul. Yet, they had to contend with something called "the Biden Rule".

“Some will criticize such a decision and say that it was nothing more than an attempt to save a seat on the court in hopes that a Democrat will be permitted to fill it, but that would not be our intention,” Mr. Biden said at the time. “It would be our pragmatic conclusion that once the political season is underway, and it is, action on a Supreme Court nomination must be put off until after the election campaign is over."

Now we are dealing with  the Kavanaugh hearings. While the Democrats are screaming for the accusations against Kavanaugh to be investigated by the FBI, we have then senator Biden  making this statement while he was presiding over the Clarence Thomas hearings:

"The last thing I will point out, the next person who refers to an FBI report as being worth anything, obviously doesn’t understand anything. FBI explicitly does not, in this or any other case, reach a conclusion, period. Period,” Biden said. “The reason why we cannot rely on the FBI report [is] you would not like it if we did because it is inconclusive. They say, ‘He said, she said, and they said. Period.”

“So when people wave an FBI report before you, understand they do not, they do not reach conclusions,” Biden said."

In addition, I would point out that this is the same FBI that "investigated" the Clinton email case. This is the same FBI that investigated the so-called collusion between Trump and the Russians. This is the same FBI that used a discredited "Russian dossier" prepared by discredited former British intelligence agent Christoper Steele to obtain a FISA warrant to tap the phone of a Trump campaign aide. Steele was, in fact, discredited by the FBI itself. They stopped using him when they found out he was passing information to the media. In federal law enforcement jargon, they "blacklisted him".

I hasten to add that it was the corrupt top leadership of the FBI that abused its power to sway an election. I do not condemn the rank and file agents in the field who are trying to do their job as professionally and honestly as possible. But after what we have seen the past couple of years, what can we expect a politicized FBI to find out decades after these things allegedly happened?

And Now Comes Accuser Number 3

It is now officially a three ring circus in the Kavanaugh confirmation process. Today ambulance chasing attorney Michael Avenatti has dragged in another woman who is accusing Kavanaugh of sexual assault. Julie Swetnick says Kavanaugh participated in a 1982 gang rape in which she was the victim.

Yes, if you are wondering, Avenatti is the same fame-seeking lawyer who is representing porn star Stormy Daniels, who claims she had an affair with Trump and was paid hush money to keep silent. My God, where is Gloria Allred? She must be getting slow in her old age.

But here is an interesting point right off the bat:

"She claims in her declaration that Kavanugh was “verbally abusive toward girls,” was a “mean drunk” and would “spike” the “punch” at high school house parties so he and his friends could take advantage of girls. Swetnick adds that she remembers seeing Kavanaugh and other boys lined up outside a room at a party waiting for their “turn” with an inebriated girl.

“In approximately 1982, I became the victim of one of these ‘gang’ or ‘train’ rapes where Mark Judge and Brett Kavanaugh were present,” Swetnick says in her statement. “During the incident, I was incapacitated without my consent and unable to fight off the boys raping me. I believe I was drugged using Quaaludes or something similar placed in what I was drinking.” 

My question is this: It appears she is referring to two separate incidents. Was Ms Swetnick gang raped by Kavanaugh and others before or after the time she saw him lined up outside a bedroom door waiting his turn? Either way, it begs the question as to why she would attend a second drinking party where this guy and his pals were present. Imagine either scenario: In scenario number one, she was gang raped by Kavanaugh et al and then attended a later party where he was present and she saw him and others lined up outside a room waiting their turn with an inebriated girl.

Really?

In scenario number two, she attended a party in which she saw Kavanaugh and others gang raping a girl, and subsequently attended another party where Kavanaugh and his pals gang raped her.

Really?

And if, Ms Swetnick is, in the words of Avenatti, so courageous, why didn't she do anything to intervene or call a stop to what was happening to that other girl at the time it allegedly happened?

I hate to come across as being insensitive to gang rape. It is a sickening and heinous act. But at what point do we get the feeling that this is one big coordinated plot to destroy a man? The Dems better hope they prove their case because if they don't, the American public is going to turn its collective head in disgust atv what they are doing.

Something Rotten in Justin Trudeau's Canada

If you think things are out of control here in the USA, take a look at Canada. Situation: A 30-year-old man named Christopher Garnier, who has never served in Canada's military, murdered a female police officer and dumped her body off a bridge. He claimed to be suffering from PTSD because of his act.

Guess what. The Canadian Ministry of Veteran Affairs is paying money to this guy for PTSD while he is in prison. That is money that has been earmarked for service members and vets.

So the Conservatives in the Parliament directly asked Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the minister for Veterans Affairs if they thought Garnier should be receiving this money. Watch how Trudeau and his minister dodged the repeated question.



This is what happens when you turn your country over to a liberal government.

Italy's New Policy on Refugees and Asylum Seekers

Restrictive measures on reception. Close to the anti-terrorism legislation, more powers to the Municipalities

ROME - The two original decrees (security and immigration) wanted by the Minister of the Interior Matteo Salvini have merged into a single decree that provides for a tightening on the immigration front and on the security front. According to the officials  of the Viminale, the text "is not armoured". From the abrogation of the residence permit for humanitarian reasons to the "crackdown" on the rental of vans, there are many innovations contained in the Salvini decree. 

Immigration. On the immigration front, the decree provides for the doubling of retention times in the Centers of detention for repatriation: from 90 to 180 days; the repeal of residence permits for humanitarian reasons replaced with permits for civil merit or for medical treatment or if the country of origin is experiencing a natural disaster. "Humanitarian protection is regulated by six specific cases, there will no longer be the free interpretation of the single", explained Salvini. "For asylum seekers, the suspension of the asylum application is foreseen in case of social danger or in the event of a conviction in the  first degree", Salvini explained. As for the Sprar (Protection System for Asylum Seekers and Refugees) will continue to exist but "limited to applicants for humanitarian protection and unaccompanied minors".

The Salvini Decree also provides for the extension of the offenses that cause the revocation of the refugee's permission (sexual violence, drug dealing, violence to a public official); the revocation of humanitarian protection to so-called "vacation refugees"; the exclusion of legal aid in cases where the appeal is declared impractical or inadmissible: the court costs will no longer be borne by the State. 

Safety. Regarding the provisions on public security, prevention and combating of terrorism and mafia crime, the decree provides for a tightening on the rental of vans that could be used for terrorist attacks; the extension of the 'daspo' ( Ban on Access to Sporting Events) for those suspected of dealing with international terrorism; while for foreigners considered a threat to national security the withdrawal of citizenship will start. 

Furthermore, the decree contemplates the upgrading of the National Agency for assets seized and confiscated from the mafia; the possibility for local police personnel to access the police force inter-force database; the extension of the urban daspo also to areas such as markets and fairs.

Moreover, the experimentation of electric impulse weapons (taser) by operators of the municipal police of Municipalities with more than 100,000 inhabitants; the exacerbation of sanctions against those who promote or organize the invasion of land or buildings and the expansion of the possibility of using the investigative instrument of wiretaps for those who commit this type of crime.

The Ones Who Can Save Europe

As Western Europe continues to suffer an Islamic invasion, which threatens to destroy its social fabric and its very identity, there is hope. Center-right parties, opposed to unlimited immigration and migration from Islamic countries and horrified by the costs in welfare and crime, has risen dramatically in popularity. Unfortunately,  with the exception of Italy and Austria, the leaders and their parties who have opened up the floodgates, remain in power.

Below, I have provided videotapes of Western European leaders (and one Eastern European leader-Viktor Orban of Hungary) speaking on the subject of unbridled migration and the abuses of the EU. These videos may or may not be recent, but their message is very current. They are all sub-titled.

I say Western Europe because it is the Eastern European members of the EU, only recently liberated from the yoke of the old USSR and communism, who are standing fast against mass migration of Muslims into their countries.

First is Geert Wilders, leader of the Dutch Freedom party. Below he debates those in the Dutch parliament who want no limits on immigration.




Next is Italy's Matteo Salvini, leader of the Northern League and now interior minister. He is a fierce critic of the EU, the euro, and continued mass migration into Italy. It is he who is trying to stop migrant ships from landing in Italian ports.



Next is Jimmie Akesson, leader of the Sweden Democrats.



Next is France's Marine LePen, of the National Front, who lost in the last French election.



Next is British politician Nigel Farage, a supporter of Donald Trump. He heads the UKIP party, and, as a delegate to the European Parliament in Strasbourg, is a regular basher of the EU and its leaders.



Viktor Orban, the president of Hungary, stands firm on the question of Islamic migration. He will not allow it into Hungary. He is under increasing pressure from the EU, but refuses to give in.



 In addition to Hungary, the Czech Republic and Poland are also refusing to accept "their fair share" of Muslim migrants.

In addition, the center right coalition government of Austria under Chancellor Sebastian Kurz is resisting the flow of Islamic migration.

Below is a very short excerpt of Kurz speaking on immigration.



Kurz, in this short excerpt, speaks of the slow assimilation process of people from "culturally distant regions". One might counter that in our country, people from culturally distant regions like Japan, China, Korea etc. have assimilated very quickly and very well-as they would in Austria or other European countries. But it is the regions mentioned by Kurz (Turkey, Chechnya and Afghanistan), that are problematic. (Turks have assimilated in Europe with varying degrees of success.) In other words, it is those from Islamic societies who have the slowest rate of assimilation. In fact, many are showing no wish to assimilate. Turks in Europe are increasingly embracing the Islamic, non-Western visions of Turkish dictator Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Of course, the elephant in the room is Germany, where Chancellor Angela Merkel has led the way in opening the floodgates. Merkel has the blood of innocent Germans on her hands, people murdered/raped by immigrants from the Middle East, Africa, Afghanistan etc. The principle opposition party is the new Alternatif fuer Deutschland, (Alternative for Germany).

Keep an eye on these figures and parties. They provide the best hope of turning this crisis around. It is up to the voters to support them.

Muslim Street Prayers in Munich

Here we have yet another example of Muslims taking over public space to hold street prayers-their way of telling Westerners that they are taking over their societies. This time it is in Munich. Michael Stuerzenberger is an anti-sharia activist who was filming and reporting from the scene. That, of course, incurred the rage of the Muslims who thought he had no right to do so in their own country no less. What watch happens as it requires a heavy police presence to keep order.

Kavanaugh: Here We Go Again

So now a woman named Deborah Ramirez has come forth and accused Judge Brett Kavanaugh of sexually abusing her (exposing himself) at a drinking party when they were both attending Yale. The allegation is troubling, to be sure, but given what has been described in the New Yorker Magazine about it, the whole thing is shakier than the accusation of Christine Blasey Ford. By all means, I urge you to read the New Yorker piece in its entirety and decide for yourself.

Let me, as a former criminal investigator add my own two cents worth. As with the Ford allegations, I have no idea whether this is true or not, and I regard the alleged behavior as atrocious.

Like Ford, Ramirez is a liberal activist.

Like Ford, Ramirez concedes she was living a life a bit on the wild side during those years in question.

Ramirez admits she drank heavily and sometimes blacked out.

Only in the past days, after jogging her memory (with the help of a Democrat lawyer), has she finally concluded (she thinks) that it was Kavanaugh who committed the act in question.

Much of the rest of the "corroborating" testimony comes from people who heard it 2nd-3rd hand (hearsay).

In other words, as things now stand, there is no proof one way or another.

So are we now going to have to delay this farce yet again so Ramirez can negotiate the terms of her testifying before the Senate committee? Poor old Chuck Grassley.

Poor old America.

Islamic Propaganda Is in Overload in California

Out here in California, organizations like CAIR, MPAC and others are in a full court press to push the Islamic agenda. They are spreading message that Muslims in the US are being treated badly, which I personally disagree with. Below is a publication by the Islamic Networks Group, which sends out speakers to schools and other places to give a version of Islam that is basically false. I attended such an event at Golden West College in Huntington Beach in March. Not only was the speaker unable to deal with probing questions about Islam, her sponsors, the professors who put on the show tried to silence our polite questions and even called in the campus police.

I would like to address a few points in the below piece. First of all, the lead article is about Governor Jerry Brown signing anti-bullying legislation. That is all well and good. I don't want to see Muslim kids bullied in school. I have already seen enough Jewish kids bullied on college campuses by bullies from the various pro-Palestinian groups.

I would also point out that it is Muslims, mostly in Muslim countries, who are actively persecuting non-Muslims. Before they complain about this Islamophobia propaganda piece that was dreamt up by Islamist activists to silence critics, they ought to take a look at how non-Muslims are being treated all over the Islamic world. We here in America are not guilty of those types of atrocities.

However, let's look at some of the figures involved.

Zahra Billoo is the head of the San Francisco chapter of CAIR-a Muslim Brotherhood front group, supporter of Hamas, and unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial of 2007-8 involving Islamic charities that funneled contributions to Middle East terror organizations. It was she who, a few years ago, produced a poster encouraging local Muslims to slam the door if the FBI came calling asking for information. 

I asked her about that when she visited UC Irvine in January 2013 during Muslim Awareness Day.

As noted in the link, I also asked her about Islam's death penalty for adulterers, which she admitted existed stressing that it applied both to men and to women.

"The Islamic Thought Institute at the International Museum of Muslim Cultures in Jackson, Mississippi hosted a historic national conference to advance a candid conversation about race, class, and religious intersectionality. ING Executive Director Maha Elgenaidi participated in an interfaith panel examining the role of interfaith dialogue and engagement in building a movement against hate. She discussed the INGYouth program and Know Your Neighbor: Multifaith Encounters program and how they provide activists with the tools and training to stand up for others." Indeed. I note that one of speakers was none other than Brooklyn imam Siraj Wahhaj, who has called for an Islamic takeover of America, which he called a "filthy garbage can". Wahhaj was an unindicted co-conspirator of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and testified for the defense in the trial of the "blind sheikh" Omar Abdel Rahman. More recently, Sirajs, son and two daughters were arrested in that New Mexico desert compound affair where Imam Wahhaj's grandson was  found dead. (The Sr. Wahhaj has not been charged in this case.)

Habeeb Quadri was featured as a speaker at the 2017 Southeast annual convention of the Islamic Circle of North America and Muslim American Society in 2017. Both of those organizations are Muslim Brotherhood affiliated. The Muslim Brotherhood, which originated in Egypt, is an Islamic supremacist organization from which many of the world's terror organizations have sprung, such as al Qaeda and Hamas. He spoke at a similar ICNA-MAS convention in December 2016, in which Muslim activist Linda Sarsour also appeared (Investigative Project on Terrorism).

ING Content Manager Ameena Jandali traveled to Houston, Texas over the Labor Day Weekend for the 55th Annual Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) Convention and appeared on three panels. She discussed some of the negative impacts of anger and ways to control it during a session with Dr. Abdalla Idris Ali. As part of that same Spiritual Series, she later talked about the ills of gluttony and solutions to overcome it. Ameena then joined Sameera Ahmed and Faraz Khan to discuss best practices for promoting healthy families in a panel moderated by Muna Jondy.  As already mentioned, ISNA is an arm of the Muslim Brotherhood. Many of the people featured in this flyer participated in that conference.

Maha Elgenaidi attended a meeting with major New York newspapers  as well as the Washington Post in September 1995 as a member of the Muslim Coalition for National Media Relations (MCNMR) for the purpose of "helping the American media to shed some of its biases toward Islam and Muslims". Part of her team was Abdulrahman Alamoudi, then executive director of the American Muslim Council and a now convicted terrorist (IPT). Also present was Salaam Marayati, CEO of the Muslim Public Affairs Council, also a MB front group, which has consistently condemned virtually every law enforcement effort to identify terrorists and potential terrorists within the US Muslim community. They have described many of the FBI's arrests as "entrapment".

Dalia Mogahed was a member of President Obama's Advisory Council on Faith Based and Neighborhood Partnerships, which sounds respectable enough. However, in 2009, she appeared with a representative of the Islamic supremacist organization, Hizb-ut-Tahrir in a TV interview in the UK in which they advocated for sharia law. Ameena Jandali was a speaker at the 2001 Islamic Society of North America (MB-affiliated) conference in Chicago along with other such "luminaries" as British crackpot politician and anti-Israel activist George Galloway, Anti-Israel activist Alison Weir, Siraj Wahhaj, and none other than Anwar  Awlaki, an imam/ terrorist who was killed by a US drone strike in Yemen. Dr Abdalla Idris Ali is part of the Islamic Society of North America-a Muslim Brotherhood affiliated organization.

These events appear benign enough. However, do not be fooled by the interfaith events involving Jewish and Christian leaders and clerics. I have attended many of them. They invariably tend to be run by Muslim leaders and imams who flat out lie about the true nature of Islam. The Jewish and Christian clerics who are involved tend to be either gullible or radical figures who cover for their Muslim counterparts while apologizing for perceived "Islamophobia".

A new bill signed this week by Governor Jerry Brown (AB 2291 School Safety: Bullying) rectifies this oversight so students and teachers can focus on learning in a safe and inclusive environment. Last month, ING Community & Civic Engagement Manager Raania Mohsen joined other members of the Muslim community in letter writing and meetings with State legislators to express strong support for the passage of AB 2291. The law requires schools to make available an online training module developed by the California Department of Education (CDE) to all school-site employees who have regular interaction with students annually. Additionally, it requires the CDE to post its online training module and an annually updated list of other available online training modules related to bullying or bullying prevention. Know Your Neighbor: Creating Inclusive Classrooms Campaign Sept. 25th-28th As students across the country settle in for the school year, we are launching a new campaign next week to help educators, parents, and students create more inclusive classrooms and schools. To that end, the Know Your Neighbor: Creating Inclusive Classrooms campaign will offer resources and best practices to help. For the 2018 Parliament in Toronto, Ontario, Deputy Director Ishaq Pathan will deliver two sessions on ING's programs. Highlights of Past ING Events What Do Environmental Protection and Conservation Mean to People of Faith? While environmental issues are a new concern in the form they present themselves today, religious traditions have long addressed the question of how humanity relates to and interacts with the environment. At a recent panel at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Saratoga, the members of the Interfaith Speakers Bureau (IFSB) discussed how their faith communities approach environmental preservation. Global Climate Action Summit Multi-Faith Service of Wonder and Commitment  Grace Cathedral in San Francisco hosted a special Multi-Faith Service of Wondering and Commitment in conjunction with the Global Climate Action Summit that took place in San Francisco from September 12th-14th. A Candid Conversation on Race, Class, and Religious Intersectionality in America The Islamic Thought Institute at the International Museum of Muslim Cultures in Jackson, Mississippi hosted a historic national conference to advance a candid conversation about race, class, and religious intersectionality. ING Executive Director Maha Elgenaidi participated in an interfaith panel examining the role of interfaith dialogue and engagement in building a movement against hate. She discussed the INGYouth program and Know Your Neighbor: Multifaith Encounters program and how they provide activists with the tools and training to stand up for others. Anger, Gluttony, and Healthy Families: ING at 55th Annual ISNA Convention ING Content Manager Ameena Jandali traveled to Houston, Texas over the Labor Day Weekend for the 55th Annual Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) Convention and appeared on three panels. She discussed some of the negative impacts of anger and ways to control it during a session with Dr. Abdalla Idris Ali.
