What Do We Make of This Omarosa Character?

We've seen porn stars and madames paraded before the cameras the past year or so, women brought forth by the media to accuse President Trump of everything under the sun. It's all amounted to nothing. Remember Stormy Daniels? Vaguely, right?

Now comes this woman named Omarosa Manigault Newman. I never watched  "The Apprentice", so I am only vaguely aware of her. I know Trump gave her a job in the White House-for whatever reason escapes me. Now she has been fired, but wait! She has secretly recorded audio tapes, so now she is the darling of the media. Maybe-just maybe- they hope: This will be the person who brings Trump down.

Here are my thoughts: Apparently, we are dealing with a high maintenance woman who is desperately trying to become famous-a household  name.

Omarosa. Just like Oprah.

The first thing we must consider is that she is a snake for secretly recording Trump, Chief of Staff John Kelly, and who knows who else. It says a lot about her character. It also says a lot about our media that they are putting her front and center because they think that this time, they can get the goods on Trump.

What goods?

I predict this will turn out to be another nothingburger, and she will fade into oblivion. However, it must be asked: Why did Trump bring her into the White House in the first place? It's one thing to put her on a dopey reality show, but it's quite another to put her in the White House, where she apparently made everyone's lives miserable. On this point, Trump rightly deserves criticism. We don't need fame-seeking characters like this in the White House. It's simply too serious a job for everyone working there at whatever position. Of course, you won't hear the media talking heads who  interview her ask her just what she did in the White House. What was her role? What accomplishments did she  achieve?

As for the tapes, she may be in violation of some law. If so, I hope she is charged. Finally, lets stop calling her Omarosa. Ms. Newman is more fitting.
