If you closely read the language (of the university) in this report from Campus Reform, it is clear that aside from increasing the % of "under-represented" minorities on campus, they are intent on reducing the % of white students and faculty. Yet, they still talk about "inclusion".

Also note that there is no mention of Asian students. Could it be because they are not an "under-represented minority"? In fact, on so many California campuses, they are an "over-represented" minority. That is because of their academic achievement. Make no mistake: In the past several years, there has been much pressure at universities to reduce the number of Asian-American students.
Yet they still talk about "inclusion".
I readily acknowledge that it is in all our interest to see more African-Americans and Hispanic Americans attending college. If those numbers are lower than desired, it is not because colleges are discriminating against them. It is due to failures in the public schools and other societal problems that the colleges cannot fix by engaging in racial bean counting.
