Russian Collusion Indeed
=
Former FBI informant William D Campbell has told Congress of Russian attempts to gain influence through the Clinton Foundation and the Uranium One deal.

Naturally, the Democrats are protecting the Clintons and trying to discredit Campbell. They say it's a Republican distraction from the "real" Russian investigation that alleges that the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians to influence the campaign in Trump's favor.
Although we know of zero evidence to support the Trump-Russian allegations, which are being investigated by Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller, you can find plenty of Uranium One evidence by reading, Clinton Cash, by Peter Sweitzer.
I say let both investigations go forward, both under special counsel. Let the facts all come out.
This is good, if it leads to bipartisan recognition that Russia is in fact doing its best (a rather poor and ineffective best, but sincerely) to try to meddle in American elections. Putin doesn't give a flying leap at a rolling donut for either Trump or Clinton, but he is trying to stir up trouble and undermine American electoral democracy. Once our political leadership gets that through their thick skulls, perhaps they will take prudent counter-measures.
