Gates of Vienna has cross-posted an interesting piece from Die Presse. The author, Fritz Rubin Bittmann, himself Jewish, analyzes the current state of anti-semitism in Austria, the ÖVP-FPÖ coalition government, and the role of Israel in all this. It's a good read.

Austrian Jews have understandable concerns about the coalition government when it comes to past anti-semitism. Indeed, anti-semitism has continued to be a problem in Austria. With the  new coalition government, which wants to limit the flow of migrants and refugees in to the country, Austria bears watching
