Saudis Arrest Billionaire Financier
Alwaleed bin Talal
"Heigh ho, heigh ho
It's off to jail I go"
There is bad news for Georgetown University and Professor John Esposito, an apologist for Islamists. Esposito is a leader of the Alwaleed Bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding at Georgetown University, which was established with a multi-million dollar grant by Saudi financier and Muslim activist Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal himself. This is the same guy whose $10 million contribution to New York City after 9-11 was rejected by Mayer Rudy Giuliani because the prince had made statements to the effect that the US had brought this attack upon itself by its Middle East policies. Georgetown, however, had no such qualms about taking Talal's money and naming the center after him.
Now Talal has been arrested by Saudi police and charged with corruption.

Given the corruption of the Saudi regime, who knows the validity of the charges, but this doesn't look good for Georgetown University.
