Hat tip Amcha Initiative
My friends and colleagues have sent me an op-ed that appeared in the San Jose Mercury news by Tammi Rossman-Benjamin on the on-going problem of anti-semitism on college campuses. Aside from the op-ed, there are two video trailers on the topic. Sadly, as usual, the university where I taught part-time for 18 years, UC Irvine, was featured front and center in both videos. (In fact, one features a clip of Yours Truly being interviewed several years ago.)

If you look at the two videos, you realize that the primary source of campus anti-semitism is from activists of the Muslim Student Associations and Students for Justice in Palestine. Some of those film clips were filmed at UC Irvine. Some I witnessed. Some Jewish organizations and activist rabbis would have everyone believe that anti-semitism today comes from neo-Nazis, skin heads, white racists, the alt-right and Trump supporters. They ignore the elephant in the room.
The young man in the second video rhetorically asking what if Muslims wanted to establish an Islamic state and resort to violent means to resist occupation is Taher Herzallah, formerly a student at UCI and one of the so-called "Irvine 11" who were arrested for disrupting the speech of the Israeli ambassador to the US in 2010 at UCI. Herzallah is now an official with American Muslims for Palestine and was most recently seen disrupting the Senate testimony of ambassador to Israel designate David Friedman. (He apparently has not learned his lesson.)
I look forward to seeing the video, "Hate Spaces" at some time in the future. I urge you all to see it as well. Everyone needs to be aware of what is happening on our campuses.
