Anis Amri, the Tunisian wanted for the attack in Berlin was killed  in a shootout by Italian police in Milan at 3 am Friday morning. Amri, who had left behind a video pledging allegiance to ISIS, had arrived by train via France and was stopped for a routine check by a police patrol when he removed a gun from his backpack and opened fire. One cop was wounded in the shoulder.

"Shootout in Sesto San Giovanni (district of Milan) The body of Amri"

How ironic that the most wanted man in Europe had been able to ride a train through at least two borders with no Customs/Immigration control-a monument to the laxity of EU controls.

In a final note of irony, one of the cops who killed him was named Cristian.
