On June 22 in response to the two events at UC Irvine involving the disruption of a Jewish event and the flap over the College Republicans sponsoring Milo Yiannopulos, I wrote an open letter to the University of California President, Janet Napolitano and the chancellor of UCI, Howard Gillman. The mailing list included several other high-ranking officials of UCI including the Cross Cultural Center, the Office for Academic Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, the vice chancellor of student affairs and Law School Dean Erwin Chemerinsky. I just wanted to report to my readers for the record that as of this date, I have received no response from any the addressees.
