Loretta Lynch Will Follow FBI/DOJ Recommendation?

I am pleasantly surprised that the Phoenix airport meeting between Loretta Lynch and Bill Clinton is getting media traction. Lynch is really under fire. Possibly as a result of the criticism, she has now announced that she will follow the recommendations of the FBI and career prosecutors in DOJ as whether to bring charges against Mrs Clinton in the email investigation.

The question I have is who exactly is Lynch referring to within the DOJ? Is it really career prosecutors or the high-ranking political appointees-a very important distinction.

As for Bill Clinton, let me say this: Remember that he is an attorney himself. He was once the attorney general of Arkansas. He knew full well that it was improper for Lynch to meet with the husband of a person under investigation. He himself initiated the meeting walking over to Lynch's plane and boarding it. It is not only Lynch who should be criticized. In my opinion, Clinton didn't even need to explicitly bring up the subject of the investigation. Just to renew or establish a friendly relationship with the attorney general puts her in a compromising position. If nothing else, Clinton is a very cunning man as we all know. Mrs  Lynch should now recuse herself from this case.

Unfortunately, it is too late in the game to appoint a special prosecutor as should have been done at the start. Hillary Clinton's nomination and election could make the investigation a mute point. As far as DOJ is concerned, this case should be placed in the hands of career officials.

I would hope that the FBI will bring their recommendation soon. Just from what has been made public, it is obvious that there is enough to prosecute on the emails and private server. A superseding indictment can be brought later as to the Clinton Foundation corruption.

  1. Loretta will stay on the case, as she is supported by Obama and thus can do anything she wants. What Loretta did, was beyond wrong, it is illegal. Both Bill and Loretta now, as AG's that they were doing wrong. Loretta should be disbarred for her reprehensible behavior. Here is what she did, which should remove her from the AG position, but the feckless Republicans will do nothing.

  2. Lynch has a built-in conflict of interest in having a personal relationship with Bill Clinton. The meeting in which no photographers were allowed was improper on its face. Two lawyers knowing that it was an improper meeting, went ahead and met anyway.

I have signed the petition for Lynch to resign.
