Hat tip San Diego Jewish World and Stand With Us
"It's called, 'connecting the dots"'
Stand With US, a Jewish and pro-Israel organization, has cross-posted an article by Max Samarov and Philippe Assouline in the San Diego Jewish World on the connections between American Muslims for Palestine, Students for Justice in Palestine, Hamas, and the Muslim Brotherhood. It features a quote ascribed to Taher Herzallah, Campus Director of AMP and former member of the so-called, "Irvine 11".

I should add that Herzallah is one of the so-called "Irvine 11", a group of Muslim Student Association members who disrupted the 2010 speech of the Israeli Ambassador to the US, Michael Oren, at UC Irvine. Since then, Herzallah has gone on to "bigger and better things", working for the likes of UC Berkeley professor Hatem Bazian, a co-founder of both SJP and AMP. Over the years I have seen Herzallah show up at anti-Israel protests in Westwood and a "triumphic 2012 return" to UCI by him and three other members of the "Irvine 11". He even showed up during the UC Regents working groups last year as they were attempting to craft a new statement of principles on intolerance that specifically addressed campus anti-Semitism. Naturally, he was against any such language. Most recently, I saw him show up at UCI in April to attend a presentation by Muslim Brotherhood activist Mohamed Soltan and CAIR Southern California director Hussam Ayloush.
SJP, AMP, Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas: It's called connecting the dots.
I wonder if this promising young man (to the Cause) is being groomed from above or if he is self motivated to move up in the movement. I knew at the time he had shown his worth to higher ups by risking getting expelled and sent to jail just to heckle and attempt to close down the presentation. He has the hate and he has the abandon so he is well worth watching closely
