Bob Moore was a country band leader from the 1960s who died in 2012. Probably his greatest musical adaptation was this traditional Mexican tune, "Mexico", which he recorded in 1961.

Ever since it was recorded and became his biggest hit, I have loved this recording. In my humble opinion, no mariachi band could have done it better. If you read the comment thread, you will see one by his daughter.
