Meanwhile in Merry Olde England

Hat tip Creeping Sharia

Luton, England is where British troops returning from Afghanistan were jeered by Muslim residents a couple of years ago. Contrary to the assertions of our current administration, there are, indeed, "no-go zones" in Europe. Bury Park in Luton is one of them. Watch what happens when a group of Christian Brits carrying crosses walk through Bury Park.

OK. The Brits provoked the Muslims. But no matter how you cut it, this is a dangerous situation, and it is being played out all over Europe.

  1. It certainly appeared that they had adequate police protection, and it is definitely true that they engaged in deliberate provocation, including the comments they made along the way. The street appeared to be a well maintained, clean street with plenty of room, a variety of stores, most of them with English signs identifying common English businesses, and they had to engage in some extra remarks before they started to get a rise out of people. If they'd walked through without the crosses (and they don't normally carry crosses around on the street in Merry Olde England like that), they wouldn't have attracted much attention at all.

Poor showing if they're trying to make a point about no-go zones.

  2. Did you notice how the toughest looking guys from the neighborhood immediately showed up?

  3. Not immediately... after the altercation with the store owner began. The more salient question is, if three people not in uniform, not trying to make a point, just out for a stroll, walked through, would those same tough guys all converge on them, or not?

  4. Were they in the video? Now someone saying "This is a public sidewalk," and then, quoting the late Steven Biko, added "This is my country, I go where I like" might be a better matter to rally around.
