Breaking: 7th Annual Islamophobia Conference Call For Papers at UC Berkeley

It's not the Boy Scout Jamboree, but close enough. UC Berkeley's Hatem Bazian has issued a Call for Papers in preparation for the....drum roll, please........

7th Annual Islamophobia Conference!!!

Of course, with the body counts piling up from one continent to another, Bazian has concluded that negative perceptions about Islam are on the rise-maybe even have reached "the tipping point". God forbid Robert Spencer might come out with another book. We can't have that.

Of course, nothing will be discussed about the blood-drenched phobias that many Muslims hold, such as anti-Semitism and the ongoing efforts to drive the last Christians out of the Middle East. There is also that phobia against the Baha'i. No papers will be submitted on that topic I am sure.

But after the bombing of a Russian airliner that killed 224 infidels, the latest Paris attacks, and the attack in San Bernardino, our number one concern should be about those out there who are drawing all the wrong conclusions. Thus, we have a new field of academic inquiry: Islamophobia and what exactly causes people to become Islamophobes?

Of course, I could send in my own proposal for a paper on how to stop the rise of Islamophobia.

Stop the hate and the killing (and I'm not talking about us).

So send in your proposals all you Islamists and apologists. Just don't send too many. That broom closet in Barrows Hall, which is the Islamophobia Documentation and Research Center, doesn't have a lot of filing space.

  1. Gary--your concerns/priorities are out of touch with all liberal/left-wing ideologies I can think of. Obama's principal national security worry is "global warming/climate change". Or that AG Lynch's "gravest fear" is "anti-Muslim rhetoric" These are words from their own buccal cavities. Geeeezzzz!!!!!
