Swastikas at UC Davis

As Janet Napolitano and the University of California regents decide on the language of their in-progress statement of principles on intolerance, an incident at UC Davis points again to the need for them to specifically address Jew hatred on campus.

"Chancellor Linda Katehi also stated that “each of us has a responsibility to build and maintain a culture and climate based on mutual respect and caring. No matter what religious, political or personal beliefs we hold, as members of a university community we have an obligation to treat each other with respect and dignity.”

Is that all? It reads like it was taken from the much-maligned proposed statement on intolerance that the regents recently rejected. No condemnation of Jew-hatred? No specific mention of the victimized group?
