Why We Should Be Concerned About Huma Abedin

If you don't know who Huma Abedin is, you should. She is one of Hillary Clinton's top campaign aides. She is also the wife of disgraced former congressman Anthony Weiner, who had to resign over his sexting scandal in which he was sending unsolicited nude pics of himself to women.

Maybe you have been reading about Abedin in connection with her work at the State Department as a close aide to Hillary as to international matters, especially the Middle East. You may also be aware that Abedin's own communications to Clinton during her tenure as secretary of state have come under scrutiny. Abedin has also come under scrutiny over her vacation time pay at State and outside employment she held at the same time. Clearly, there are a lot of questions about Ms Abedin.

None of the above, however, is as concerning as her background before she became an aide to Clinton. Her mother, Saleha Mahmood Abedin, is a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. Three years ago, Andrew McCarthy, a former federal prosecutor, wrote this article about Abedin in PJ Media.

The Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs, with which Huma was associated, is another organization of concern. This organization was founded by a Saudi named Abdullah Omar Naseef, also linked to the Brotherhood. Naseef was also the founder of the Rabita Trust, identified as a front group for Al Qaeda after 9-11.

If you are wondering in the face of all this how it is that Abedin was able to get a position as aide to the secretary of state with all the security implications and clearances, join the crowd. Who cleared this woman in the first place? Even if Abedin is innocent of all the obvious insinuations, simple security should have mandated she not be allowed within spitting distance of the State Department.

This is just another example of how cavalierly Hillary Clinton handled national security. Can you imagine how she would handle it as president?

  1. The U.S. Intel Community has remarked that they are almost 100 % sure that Russia, China and other nation states have hacked into Hillary's unprotected server. This was an equal opportunity hacked server, so why not the Muslim Brotherhood as well.

  2. This is a fascinating point. Just how is it that a young Muslim woman marries a philandering jewish guy, who happened at the time to be a congressman, and nobody on her side goes crazy?

    It is an interesting proposition.

A question-just a question: Could this woman be a modern day Alger Hiss?

    Just a question.
