When it comes to academia, Harvard refuses to be outdone by any other university. So it follows that Harvard is taking the lead when it comes to sheer insanity. From now on, students will be able to choose by which pronoun faculty and staff are to address them.

I can just envision the conversations on campus.

Great idea! Why didn't I think of this myself. Hey, you Sir! By what pronoun do you want to be addressed?
Outstanding. From now on, hunh are referred to as hunh.
I would refer to Genny Beemyn as "it."
