Pakistan's Latest Shame

Our friends, the Pakistanis, are showing their colors again. Zakuir Rehman Lakhvi, the accused mastermind behind the horrific Mumbai attacks, has been released on bail in Rawalpindi, leading to outrage in India.

Zaki ur Rehman Lakhvi

Lakhvi (He's the guy with he flattened mushroom on his head) is a senior member of that cuddly little Islamist organization called Lashkar e Taiba, a Pakistani terrorist organization.

You might say that in civilized nations, they don't grant bail to people accused of such serious crimes, however, the above organization has serious connections to the Pakistani intelligence and military services.

Of course, to quote President Obama, we should not get on our high horses and condemn Pakistan so quickly. Remember those 5 high-ranking Taliban commanders we released a year or so ago from Gitmo?

"C'mon! That was a prisoner exchange."

  1. Sure, its disturbing, but a Pakistani court ordered him released in bail. What do you want the executive branch to do? Violate a direct court order? What would you say if President Obama did that?

  2. I think I just did with the Taliban prisoner swap. As for Pakistan, it is a piece of sh-- country.

  3. Since Gary waxed a little scatological, I would observe that we need to be careful in our dealings with countries where they still defecate in the ditches.
