Hat tip National Review and Mark Levin
"I have Israel's back."
-President Obama
Just minutes ago while driving home I listened to Mark Levin's account of a 2008 article that Andrew McCarthy wrote about president Obama's history with Columbia University professor Rashid Khalidi, a former spokesman for Yasir Arafat. I was aware of the story and the 2003 party that Obama attended in honor of Khalidi who was leaving the University of Chicago to take a position at Columbia, where he now heads up the Middle East Studies department, a hotbed of anti-Israel indoctrination. I was also aware that the LA Times had obtained a video of that party, but is keeping it under wraps in a vault, where the public cannot see it. Nor did the Times, in its own article, mention that ex-Weather Underground terrorists-turned professors Bill Ayres and Bernadine Dohrn were present at the party.
I think it is worthwhile re-posting McCarthy's article so the reader can see just how much Obama has Israel's back.

To borrow Levin's line, now you know why Obama treats Netanyahu and Israel so shabbily.
I would keep Netanyahu at arm's length, because he's a reckless ideologue who shamelessly attempts to manipulate American foreign policy to serve his own ends. That may even make sense for him, but I wouldn't cooperate with him in that endeavor.
ReplyDeleteThere is no good to be accomplished by abolishing Israel, whatever one may think about the process by which it came to exist. But, that doesn't mean that Israel can commit itself to any policy it desires, and expect a blank check from the United States. They have a right to choose their own policy, we have a right not to back it.
