Yusuf al Qaradawi is an Egyptian Islamic scholar living in exile in Qatar. The Investigative Project on Terrorism has obtained his latest call to arms.
Before you get the idea that he is just some fringe guy whom we might compare to the Westboro Baptist Church in Kansas, you need to understand that this guy is considered one of the leading Islamic scholars in the world. In fact, he is the spiritual mentor to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt-which pretty much explains why he is living in Qatar.
When this guy talks, a lot of people listen.
