As my readers know, I have linked One New Heart to my blog. This organization led by American Christian missionaries Hank and Michelle Dannecker, arranges for Palestinian children with congenital heart defects to have corrective surgery at Israeli hospitals by Israeli doctors working pro-bono. Only the hospital costs must be paid. Heart defects are very common among Palestinian babies due to intermarriage.
At this time, Hank is trying to raise funds to rescue a little Romanian girl in dire need of surgery. Her story and picture are linked below.
