There is a new book out that argues against the academic boycott of Israel. It is entitled,
The Case Against Academic Boycotts of Israel and is co-edited by Cary Nelson, a past president of the American Association of University Professors. It has about 25 articles written by different writers including Tammi Rossman Benjamin, a professor at UC Santa Cruz and co-founder of the AMCHA Initiative, an organization dedicated to exposing and fighting anti-Semitism on college campuses.
I plan to get this book, and I recommend it to my readers.
There was a great op-ed in the Nov. 6 LA Times on the same subject: "The Israel Boycott that Backfired" by Thomas Doherty. This link may be for subscribers only: http://www.latimes.com/opinion/op-ed/la-oe-doherty-american-studies-assn-israel-20141106-story.html
