Let's call him "Grand Slam" Gruber.
That's because yet a 4th tape has surfaced of Gruber this time at Holy Cross College in 2010 telling the audience how they snookered the public with Obamacare.

Even CNN is reporting it. This is just too good!
Also, this is what Gruber got for his deceit, deception and dishonesty. See the link and you will be very pissed-off:

Ahhh yes!!! To the extent that the 10 million does not include people who signed up due to loss of previously existing, better/cheaper plans and Medicaid re-applications, etc., etc., that is at most about a whopping three (3) per cent of the population.
ReplyDeleteHow can anyone not realize that it obviously would have been easier, cheaper, smarter, more efficient, less disruptive/divisive, and better to have concentrated only on the 10 (or 20 or 30) million who did need some help and not take action(s) which would negatively impact many or all of the rest of us??
In that regard, it is similar to gun licensing/registration schemes. At least 98.5 per cent, probably more, of U.S. gun owners somehow manage to use at least 99.5 per cent, probably more, of their guns in a completely responsible and law-abiding manner. By definition, these schemes apply only to them, so why we would have them in the first place is beyond me.

ReplyDeleteMaybe because if that had been done, the majority of Americans would have been bitterly complaining that the ten million or so got gold-plated treatment with policies that included all kinds of mandatory preventive coverage, and those who already had coverage didn't get any of that???
(And even if it weren't so, that would be the Republican attack line).
The ACA is basically what congressional Republicans came up with as the GOP response to Hillarycare, but never bothered to legislate.
