Hat tip Jewish daily Forward
Judea Pearl, a professor at UCLA, is the father of Daniel Pearl, the Jewish-American journalist who was beheaded in Pakistan. I have heard him speak. He is a rational and dignified voice on a campus that has too many of the opposite persuasion. In this article he rises to the defense of the AMCHA Initiative for its documentary report on the anti-Israel bias of UCLA's Center for Near Eastern Studies (CNES).

Let me add here that I am proud to call myself an ally of the AMCHA Initiative. My friends Tammi Rossman-Benjmin and Leila Beckwith (Professor at UC Santa Cruz and Professor Emeritus UCLA respectively) are acting very courageously in pointing out the false and biased teaching that passes for scholarship on many California campuses and which has led to anti-Semitism on campus. It has earned them the scorn of the Middle East studies propagandists and other assorted university pinheads.
Kudos to Professor Pearl for coming to their defense.
