Joe Biden Talks Big

Where's the Action?

"That's a big f----- deal."

So loudmouth Joe Biden has told an audience that we will follow (ISIS) to the gates of Hell. That's great. Does that mean President Obama has made a decision?

That's fine, Joe. Does that mean we are going to follow Germany's lead (or was it France?) and fully arm the Kurds so they can take the fight to ISIS in Iraq?

Does that mean we are going to bomb them in Syria (or just Iraq and Hell?)

Does that mean we are going to follow Britain's lead and start canceling the US passports of these Jihadis who live in the US?

Does that mean we are going to stop this wave of Islamic immigration to the US?

Just what does it mean, Joe?

  1. I would be happier with Joe Biden if he didn't sound so much like a vapid doppleganger of Fousesquawk so often.

I shudder to think that he may be the primary alternative to Hillary in 2016. What we need now is a new Barack Obama who can cast the old hands aside... or a John Edwards who takes his marriage vows seriously.

  2. Is that the same John Edwards who paid his mistress with campaign funds??

  3. elwood, I know you are a selective reader, but did you completely miss the modifying phrase "takes his marriage vows seriously"???

  4. And Siarlys is a selective reporter. A crook like Edwards who takes his marriage vows seriously would make a good Prez in Siarlys' book?? Not in mine.

  5. Well elwood, if Edwards had taken his marriage vows seriously, he wouldn't have invited that woman to his hotel room, led her to his bed, or fathered a child by her, would he?

So, if that moral lapse didn't exist, in what OTHER respect would be be a crook? Elucidate, and I will respond.

I liked the kind of campaign Edwards seemed to be offering for the same reasons that Bonnie Raitt did, as far as that can be publicly identified.

  7. elwood... I think you should see a doctor... but when you are able to write a simple sentence in English in a coherent fashion, please do try again.

Google's word verification for this is
"prayer Zealgin." Not a bad theme for Fousesquawk, although Gary is a beer drinker, never mentioned a fondness for gin.
