Hat tip to Marty and Paul
The below video is graphic. It shows the summary execution of Syrian soldiers who were guarding an Aleppo hospital attacked by rebels. The text ( in Spanish) indicates that there was a suicide attack on the hospital, after which some of the soldiers identified as Christians were taken prisoner by the Free Syrian Army and that the fanatics of al Nusra "brought them forward and executed them with a pistol (shot) to the head". The video was published March 15, 2014. I guess in a sense they were lucky. They could have been beheaded. Of course, the executions are accompanied by the frenzied shouts of, Allahu Akbar" and "Takbir".
I don't put these up for shock effect. I do it for educational purposes. This is the reality of Christians in the Middle East today (with the exception of Israel).

If it is true that some of the killers are from the Free Syrian Army, isn't that the rebel group we are supporting? An important point that I don't think is clear here is whether the FSA participated in this execution.
I think the take away here is that they were brutally murdered because they were Christian, not so much which clan of Jihadists did it.
ReplyDeleteI can't help but think about how terrified they must have been in that situation.... even worse if you saw what happened to those of your group who were to your left in the line.
I believe these oh so brave killers will turn and run as they did in 1967, in operation Cast Lead and in every other war they have engaged in the last couple hundred wars. They can get some idiots to become suicide bombers or fire missiles from a safe place but they are not anything like a functioning army. They see themselves kneeling by the side of a trench too so they throw away their rifles and shoes, abandon their positions, and run into the dessert. Once one runs, they all do,
Miggie,
ReplyDeleteThat is why we must stand up to them.
And people on the left believe we can reason with these folks?? Not hardly.
ReplyDeleteAnd most of those on the left appear to really believe we can negotiate/reason with these people?? Not hardly.
ReplyDeleteAnd am I mistaken, or do they not also sometimes do this to apostates even after they have renounced Christianity or whatever religion they had strayed to, and return to Islam in sort of a coerced re-conversion??
Please excuse (again) the double post, when I did the first one the webpage had "expired" and I thought it did not get through, so I did a second one before the first one got posted. Mea culpa.
