Hat tip Breitbart
It seems President Obama is not satisfied that his policies have given the green light to thousands of Central American families to send their children heading north with or without their parents. He is not satisfied that thousands of these children are now being shuttled around the country by Border Patrol agents longing for the implementation of private contractors to take over diaper-changing duties. Now he seemingly wants to by-pass Congress using his ever-complaint new head of DHS, Jeh Johnson.

You think we have a flood now? Wait until amnesty is enacted. We have chaos on our border, and Obama just wants to make it worse.
Think Cloward-Piven!!! This is the dream of Obama, which has come forth from all his Socialist-Marxist training from the "New Party", SDS, Frank Marshal, his Grand parents and Mommy. Of course, we cannot leave kurt all those "Marxists" who he hung with in college. One wonders if he got private tutting from Cloward and Piven when he went to Columbia, as they were professors at that time.

One day, Gary lampoons the government's effort to hire someone to take over the diaper changing duties from the Border Patrol as hiring hookers for five year olds. Now, all of a sudden, he realizes that someone should take over diaper changing duties so the Border Patrol can do what it is trained to do.
ReplyDeleteTalk about flip-flop.
And anyone notice that Gary has decorated the president's office with three individuals who would NEVER NEVER NEVER have given amnesty to anyone?
Squid... you have Pliven and Coward on the brain. They're nothing. A couple of work-out has beens who had their fifteen minutes of fame and nobody could figure out why a publisher took their silly book in the first place.
@Siarlys
ReplyDeleteUnlike your banal banter Siarlys, I provide the evidence that the Coward-Piven strategy is in full forward motion. Try to say that Cloward-Piven is on the brain of these people in a small town, like many small towns along the border that are going broke because of the Obama implementation of Cloward-Piven. Here is the evidence:

Squid
If its posted on a blog, Squid, it certainly must be true. Why don't you post a Wikipedia article on Plivens and Coward also, and then cite it as authority?
ReplyDeleteWhat does Siarlys knows, or at least think he knows, about Wikipedia which I don't. What could it be?? Possibly/probably a lot, at least in his view, but much of it seems OK and fairly well-documented to me.
ReplyDeleteelwood, I know that ANYONE can open a free account on Wikipedia and post whatever they want. Eventually, if it is really outrageous, some other volunteer will go around labeling that it needs more development. In very rare cases, some self-appointed insider will take an article down, for good reason or bad. But to find something stated as fact in Wikipedia is no evidence at all that it is a fact.
ReplyDeleteThe Onion ran a piece once about the Wikipedia 17th of July celebration, marking America's 873rd year of independence from Rome. That was a bit of an exaggeration, but even you should get the drift.
My point was, Squid cites a blog where someone made an allegation as evidence that it is so. Anyone can write a blog. Also, having grown into adulthood (and a good deal of community and labor organizing) at a time when Plivens and Coward still had some rhetorical influence and respect, I know from a hard left perspective that they are patronizing, manipulative fools, always ready to use the impoverished masses as cannon fodder for their personal fantasies. I've skimmed their book, Regulating the Poor, which is about all the attention it deserves, and I'm pretty well aware that their political influence today is somewhat less than Grace Slick (who has retired from inflammatory pseudo-revolutionary instrumental and vocal recordings laced with obscenities, and lives in a mansion in Marin County.)
At least some of Jefferson Airplane is still worth listening to, as is Creedence Clearwater Revival. Plivens and Coward are only a smidgeon above lebens unvertens leben, and that only because the concept is too horrible to apply even to cretins such as themselves. (Yes, Squid, I probably mis-spelled the German. Never did study the language, although it was offered at my high school.)
