With all the goings on in Iraq, it is easy to forget about Nigeria and the hundreds of schoolgirls kidnapped by Boko Haram, the Islamic terrorist group. Creeping Sharia brings us up to date on the body count there.

And Hillary Clinton fought off efforts to designate BH as a terrorist group when she was SecState. It wasn't done until last November.
"It was a hard choice."
Meanwhile, I have a great suggestion: Why don't we have the University of California-sponsored Olive Tree Initiative go to Nigeria. Yes! They have done so much good in building bridges between the Israelis and Palestinians. Why not send our student-diplomats to see first-hand what the conflict is all about. After visiting beautiful downtown Lagos and the capital Abuja, they can all go up north and talk to Boko Haram leaders to get their side of the story. They can also meet with Christian leaders -if any are still alive.
Who knows? They may come home with a different point of view. Isn't that the goal of the OTI?
But I digress.
I would strongly suspect that the organizers and active members of Olive Tree see NO BASIS to hold dialog with Boko Haram. The said thing is, while they can tell the difference, Gary can't see ANY difference between the grievances of millions of Palestinians, and the fanaticism of Boko Haram.
