UC Riverside to Vote on Divestment-Again!

Hat tip John Speedie for audio

"Play it again, Sam."

Seems like just a few weeks ago that the UC Riverside student government voted down one of those pesky anti-Israel divestment resolutions, but the little rascals are back. They will (yawn) be voting on yet another one introduced by (guess who) Students for Justice in Palestine.

"Ah wunnerful, ah wunnerful, ah."

I guess it will be another all-nighter. Even if it passes this time, no doubt the university will issue a statement to the effect that they have thrown it in the waste basket.

How about a resolution to divest from companies that do business with Russia over its illegal occupation of Crimea?

Anyone?

  1. How about we check the immigration papers for the students and deport those who have overstayed the permission to go to school here and certainly outlived their welcome here.
