The Godmother-Part 12

The Godmother Part 12

A private Lear Jet was speeding its way south from Washington to a small private island in the Caribbean. On board were a select group of Washington law-breakers, makers as well as other shady characters. One of the politicians was Congressman Charlie Wrangler; another was Senator Bobby-"Socks" Melendez. The owner of the jet (and the island) was a New York "philanthropist" named Jeff Eppie, a man known for his taste for the babes. And I do mean babes. There was also the usual group of immodestly dressed women passing through the cabin passing out drinks and sitting on passengers' laps. Finally, there were two other passengers of note; the Godmother and her husband, Bill.

The Godmother basically ignored the boisterous socializing going on in the plane preferring to sit and read the latest poll numbers and occasionally drift off to sleep, at which point, her loud snoring could be heard even above the din of the merry-making.

About an hour from their destination, the Godmother woke up, called her assistants around her, and began talking business.

"Where's Bill?" she asked.

"Uh, he's in the bathroom, Godmother", answered one of her lieutenants.

"Go get him", The Godmother ordered impatiently.

Knowingly, the lieutenant walked slowly up the aisle to the rear of the plane. Reaching the toilet, he knocked on the door.

"Hey Bill, the Godmother wants youse."

A heavy voice answered from inside.

"Yeah, OK. I'm coming, I'm coming. I'm coming."

Chuckling, the lieutenant walked back to the Godmother's seat.

Later that evening.

The party was in full swing at the Copacabana Night Club located on the small private island belonging to Jeff Eppie.

The Godmother was sitting at a private table when one of her aides escorted yet another congressman to her.

"Elijah, Good to see you."

"Godmother," answered Congressman Lemmings, "I'm so glad we could have this time together."

"Thanks for all you are doing for us," answered the Godmother.

She then turned to Bobbie-Socks Melendez and asked, "Would you like another drink, Bobbie Socks?"

"I think I'd like that red-haired chiquita over there," answered the Senator.

The Godmother turned to Fredo. "Take care of that, Fredo, and while you're at it, find Bill."

Later that evening.

From the Copacabana, a few of the partiers had adjourned to a local dive located up a back alley on the private island of Jeff Eppie. Among them were Fredo, who had brought them there, Senator Melendez, and a few other hangers-on.

Oh yeah. The Godmother was also there though she didn't seem all that interested in the goings-on.

Standing in the balcony of the dive, the party observed the show developing on the stage below. The stage was dressed up like some cheap imitation of the Oval Office in the White House. A young girl dressed up like an intern was tied to a pole by two other women. At that point, a man wearing a cheap suit walked out on the stage and faced the skimpily-dressed girl. Suddenly, with one motion of the man's arm, the "suit" fell to the floor as the audience gasped in awe.

"Hey Fredo," asked Bobbie Socks, "Where did you find this place?"

"Bill brought me here," answered Fredo with a proud smile on his face. "Bill knows this island like the back of his hand."

Later, when everyone had returned to Jeff Eppie's house on the private island, startled guests could hear the sounds of broken dishes, lamps, and other glassware crashing against the walls of the room occupied by the Godmother and Bill.

"You ^%$#!@!! You broke my *^%$#^ heart!"
