Hat tip The Hill and Weasel Zippers
"OK O'Reilly, you have 10 minutes."
(Was that Joe Namath or Joe Biden who flubbed the Super Bowl coin toss?)
President Obama must have felt like Peyton Manning tonight as Bill O'Reilly used his ten minutes to pepper him with questions about the healthcare roll out debacle, why he won't fire Kathleen Sebelius, Benghazi, and the IRS scandal.
You can watch the video in the below link by Weasel Zippers and also see the comment regarding the IRS question from The Hill.

Each side can read into the interview what they want. If you wish, you could say that Obama deftly dodged the real Hardball...
" I don't think that's funny."
.... questions coming fast and furious from O'Reilly as he (O'Reilly) was clearly trying to get in the points he wanted covered.
Or you could say that O'Reilly asked the questions that needed to be asked and that Obama dodged them. Period.
Knowing his time was limited to ten minutes, O'Reilly cut into the President's long-winded answers throwing in follow-up questions about why Obama wouldn't fire Sebelius, did Leon Panetta tell him that Benghazi was a terrorist attack (as General Carter Ham had just told Panetta), and the IRS scandal. O'Reilly tried to pin Obama down on why former IRS commissioner Doug Shulman had visited the White House 157 times. Obama admitted that Shulman was there as part of the IRS's role in the healthcare legislation, but didn't recall actually meeting him personally on those visits.
Predictably, the President refused to answer the questions of why he wouldn't fire Sebelius, why he hasn't held anybody accountable, and whether Panetta told him a terrorist attack was underway in Benghazi. He basically bobbed and weaved, giving long drawn out answers that avoided the question and ran out the clock. He threw out the line that O'Reilly and Fox News were, in essence, putting false information into the heads of their audience. He couldn't even answer the question from Kathy LeMaster of Fresno, California, who sent this in to O'Reilly:
"Mr President, why do you feel it is necessary to fundamentally transform the nation that has afforded you so much opportunity and success?"
Answer? Tap dance.
Result?
O'Reilly 43
Obama 8
When will the Psychologists call out Obama for what he is?!

Squid
Sounds at least something, if not a lot, like him to me, but of course sociopathy is not disqualifying.
ReplyDeleteIts easy to win a game when the scorekeeper is a fan.
ReplyDeleteSquid... nice list, but aside from the fact that psychiatrists don't know anything about any specific person, and should be barred from giving expert witness testimony for the prosecution OR the defense in any trial, you've offered no evidence that these traits apply in any way to the president.
