Joe Biden Sighting in Some Coffee Shop
"Wait'll ya hear what Michelle told Barack yesterday..."
Joe Biden (May he rest in peace) apparently wandered away from the vice president's residence and was finally located in a coffee shop in Minneapolis annoying customers and telling them that despite the administration's inflated claims of Obamacare enrollees, the numbers are somewhat lower than that magic 7 million mark.

"Initially, we talked about by the end of this period having seven million people lined up," he told a group in a coffee shop on Wednesday. "We may not get to seven but we're gonna get to five or six, and that's a hell of a start with people."
"That's a big f****** deal."
*Update: All ended well when some nice young men in white coats arrived. At this time, Joe is being transported back to Washington by air ambulance.
Did they mention whether or not he was in restraints when they took him back to Washington? They have to get him to either shut up or they are using him to break bad news or float trial ballons.
ReplyDeleteMost of the new enrollees are either new or already existing on the dole... meaning they are not paying for the coverage. Speaking of that, the new enrollees are not determined by who actually paid a premium, so who knows what the numbers are. Whatever, it will be 10 times more expensive and take 10 times as long to implement. That's the standard rule of thumb with gvt projects. In this case it may be too conservative an estimate. That's all without any reduction in the number of uninsured in the country.
Although this story does not appear to be well sourced, I really don't want Joe to run for president. There are reasons he never got out of single digits when he tried in the past. I also don't want Hillary. Events are conspiring to remind me why I'm not a Democrat, and its hard to see a Republican worth voting for. Christie is a toss-up at present. Some days, he resembles the goons Gary tries to tell us labor unions are full of.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I've done my part to help up the numbers on the ACA. Like voting, I only have one insurance policy to sign up for, and I've got it. Now to find a primary care doctor.
