Abe Foxman's Blindness

Mark Steyn points out Anti Defamation League CEO Abe Foxman's blindness about anti-Semitism in Europe. Foxman wants to blame it all on anti-immigrant neo-Nazis. While that is one small aspect of the problem, the larger part of the problem is immigrant themselves, in this case, Muslim immigrants (the M word). To delve deeper to the problem follow the link to Laura Rosen Cohen's piece, which Steyn references. She spells it out.

This is the same wilful blindness Foxman exhibited a few years ago when he spoke before a Jewish group in Newport Beach, California. When asked by a friend of mine about the anti-Semitism on-going on the University of California campus and hate speech expressed by certain speakers invited by the Muslim Student Union, Foxman pooh-poohed the issue saying there was no problem, and that the Jewish students and the administration had it under control. And that was before the Israel ambassador was shouted down by the MSU at a speech at UCI in 2010 and before Amir Abdel Malik Ali told a Jewish audience members that "they were the new Nazis".

Foxman is still fighting the old anti-Semitism. He needs to wake up to the new anti-Semitism, which is really just another form of the old anti-Semitism again become fashionable.
