Hat tip Tundra Tabloids and Arutz Sheva
If you have ever been to the site of a former Nazi death camp (as I have), there is nothing humorous about the experience. Unless you have Nazi sympathies.
The Finnish blog, Tundra Tabloids, has picked up an article from Israel National News on the arrest of two young Turkish men who, while touring the Nazi death camp at Majdanek, Poland, thought it would be funny to give the Nazi salute to a group of touring Israelis.

Actually, I don't think they were trying to be funny at all. They were expressing their hatred of Jews.
1. The gesture of those Turkish students was disgusting.
ReplyDelete2. Majdanek is not "Poland's camp" - just like Guantanamo Bay detention camp is not "Cuba's camp. Majdanek is a former German concentration camp established during the German occupation of Poland. Please correct the mistake.
Anonymous,
ReplyDeleteI did not mean to infer that Poland ran the Majdanek death camp, but I see your semantic interpretation of the post's title. I am changing the title. I appreciate you pointing that out. I only meant to inform the reader that the camp was located in (German-occupied) Poland.
