Hat tip Vlad Tepes
Via Vlad Tepes, I am cross-posting video of the Nairobi mall attack which was obtained by CNN (warning: graphic). Note that at one point in the attack, one of the attackers pauses to pray.
I wonder if any of the attackers shown on the video were those who reportedly came from the US (Somali "refugees").
I wonder if he was praying for more ammunition... There certainly is a disconnect between prayer while you are killing innocent people. I don't think it was an anomaly. The more religious the Muslims are, the more likely they are to be or to actively support terrorism. I am always struck with that when I read about all the fatwas coming from the highest level imams. It is the exact opposite of any other modern day religion that seeks peace and preaches it from top to bottom.

Why does it surprise you that religious fanatics pause to pray before slaughtering infidels? I'm sure Thomas More and Torqemada did the same, as did Timur, and Judge Hathorne at the Salem Witchcraft trials? Maybe Joshua did too, before stoning to death the family of the man who took the wedge of gold from Jericho, or whichever conquered city it was. Religious fanatics are motivated by religion. Of course they pray. All who pray are not Amish, Quakers, Methodists, or sweet little old ladies devoted to Mary.

ReplyDeleteIt is actually easy to understand how the Jihadist murderers find it so acceptaable to pray and murder at the same time. The practice is layed out perfectly in the Koran, Hadith and especially the Sira (Mohammad's biography). Remember, Mohammad slaughtered the Jews in Medina, when they refused to submit to Islam. Do you see a connection between the Kenya Mall murders, when the citizens could not call out Mohammad's mother's name, and where then shot because they were not Muslim.
