Where the Hell is Samantha Power?

Isn't it amazing how Team Obama is absent when they are most needed? Our new ambassador to the UN, the outspoken Samantha Power, is no exception. She missed a UN Security Council meeting on what to do about those chemical weapons in Syria. I wonder why.

Remember how President Obama was prattling on about how any use of chemical weapons by the Syrian forces would "cross a red line', be a "game changer" and all that?

"Uhhhh.....yeaaaah."


Well, it appears the Syrians have crossed the Rubicon, and now Obama doesn't know what to do. This week, even Jay Carney was missing from the White House press briefing and sent out some deputy named Josh Earnest to handle the question of what we are going to do now.

"We are going to consult closely with our allies and push for a full investigation," is what Earnest Josh told the reporters.

Maybe that explains why Power decided to sip that security council meeting.
