Rachel Jeantel is now making the interview circuit with friendly interviewers talking about the Zimmerman trial. She has been interviewed by Marc Lamont Hill, Al Sharpton, Vinnie Politan, and Piers Morgan. If Jeantel helped wreck the prosecution's case against George Zimmerman, she is doing Zimmerman even more favors with her current round of interviews.

"Jeantel insisted that Martin was “creeped out” and believed Zimmerman was following him, even worrying that he might be a “rapist.” She asked, “For every boy or every man who’s not that kind of way, seeing a grown man following them, would they be creeped out?”

Morgan: "Well, now, wait a minute, Rachel.  Could Trayvon have been doing whoop ass in self-defense?"

So what is coming out of these interviews? Jeantel is only building the case that Trayvon Martin was the initiator of the fight, indeed, that he may have doubled back from near his father's home to confront Zimmerman. She talks about the "ass-whoopin" that Zimmerman was getting from Martin. She speculates about Martin possibly mistaking Zimmerman for a homosexual on the prowl.

So now this unfortunate young woman is getting her 15 minutes of fame and perhaps a lot of money and a college education out of it. She is painting herself as a victim and being exploited by people with their own agenda. She complains about her "harsh" cross-examination at the hands of Don West. Rachel, you have no idea what a harsh cross-examination is. Problem is that the Hills, Morgans, and Sharptons of the world are making the same mistakes that the prosecution team made. Every time they put on a witness, it blows up in their faces and helps the case for George Zimmerman.
