Tomorrow Bill Killian, the US Attorney for the Eastern District of Tennesee, and the head of the FBI's Knoxville office will be addressing a meeting sponsored by the American Muslim Advisory Council of Tennessee. Killian has raised eyebrows with recent statements that certain statements critical of Islam or Muslims could run afoul of federal law.

While I applaud Killian's desire to protect the civil liberties of Muslims, I will be curious to know where he draws the line when it comes to public discourse about terror and radical Islamists. It looks like other concerned citizens plan to attend as well.
